ABOUT NATHAN
Built on relationships.
Grounded in experience.
One career, multiple disciplines, and a consistent belief that the best opportunities come from doing right by people.
THE STORY
A career shaped by people and possibility.
Putting people first changes how you lead, build, and grow.
A GUIDING PRINCIPLENathan Nicholson serves as EVP of National Growth and Development and is part of the leadership team at Success Mortgage Partners. His experience spans mortgage origination, banking, broker and retail channels, correspondent lending, independent mortgage banking, recruiting, branch development, and business growth.
Before moving into broader leadership roles, Nathan spent years in production. Recognized for three consecutive years as a top mortgage producer, he learned firsthand the challenges loan officers and business owners face. He later helped build a branch partnership that reached approximately $400 million in annual production and supported 30–40 employees.
His leadership philosophy is simple: listen first, earn trust, solve real problems, and support people beyond the initial transaction. His career has also included recognition for banking growth and corporate recruiting performance.
A separate passion is real estate. Nathan began researching and pursuing investing opportunities in fall 2012, purchased his first property in spring 2013, and built a patient, cash-flow-focused approach he later discussed on the BiggerPockets podcast in 2025 and 2026.
This website connects those different parts of Nathan’s life and work: building mortgage businesses, investing for the long term, and sharing practical lessons with others.
